Google Earth Batanes Atlas: Using Google Earth you can zoom into the area of the Batanes and view both regional and local maps against the satellite image background. You can click on various sites, towns and fortresses and view images. If you have Google Earth installed you can click on the link and it will open the Batanes Atlas. TimeMap: A dynamic map for the Orchid Island and the Batanes has been developed in TimeMap by ECAI with assistance from Academia Sinica. The map includes overview layers including NASA LandSat images, Topographical Maps, and Language Maps. In addition, current theories of migration for the people of the area are presented.
