This Website is a Cultural Atlas that includes maps, a timeline, and images of Batanes. Batanes is the northern most province of the Philippines. It is comprised of 10 islands, three of which are occupied. The islands have a long history beginning with prehistoric people who traveled among the Batanes Islands and to and from Luzon, Orchid Island (Lan-yu), and Taiwan.
