A Sphere of Cultural Atlas, Chosun Dynasty:the Reciprocity of Population and Land Hang-Nyong Oh and Hak-Sung Lim Our team are constructing basic 24DBs and some atlases to understand the culture and society of Chosun Dynasty, Korea. We presented one of them, 'the Reconstruction of Administrative Districts of Chosun Dyn.(RAD)' in Vienna Conf. in April. On the basis of RAD, we will be able to present the reciprocity of population and land(RPL) in Bangkok Conf. We are going to examine the ratio of the water land and no-water land, the influence of population-density to cultivatable land, etc. and show these results on the maps. We expect RPL will give us fundamental prepositions and interpretations to our further works - the reconstruction of traditional traffic system, the local markets and the moving of commodities.
