Capturing South Asian Scholarly Information: Sources for a Cultural Atlas

This paper will review the progress of ECAI South Asia as an exemplar of the operations of an ECAI Regional Team. ECAI South Asia does not have at its centre an ongoing large project which can support its activities. Instead it is a collaborative group working on a number of different projects with a view to producing a new type of resource for researchers in this area. The paper will discuss the issues which have arisen and challenges faced by the team in the future.
