Community Support Services

As a collaborative project ECAI is committed to collecting, creating and disseminating knowledge about how to use the ECAI infrastructure and how to create high quality, scholarly, time and space enabled online projects.

Much of the collaboration and training occurs at or in conjuction with conferences where worksessions focus on the development of scholarly and technical approaches to project development. The primary components of this user support system include:

• Conference worksessions
• Online knowledgebase and FAQ system
• ECAI Institute training sessions and workshops. A number of Institutes have been developed with concentrations on:
  • Developing ECAI publications and projects
  • Working with larger institutional affiliates
  • Digitizing and georeferencing regional cultural data
• User Guides
