Participating in ECAI
The Electronic Cultural Atlas Initiative (ECAI) is a global consortium
incorporating scholars in the humanities, social sciences and history;
archivists, librarians and curators; members of non-governmental organizations,
and information technology researchers. Anyone in these categories is encouraged to become an affiliate of the
Cultural Atlas.
We welcome many kinds of collaboration.
- Scholars, librarians and curators developing digital projects that
can be visualized in time and space are invited to create
and publish their work in a way that is compatible with that of
ECAI and to register there completed projects in our Cultural Atlas Portal so that they gain visibility.
- Information technology researchers with expertise in the areas of
interest to ECAI are invited to collaborate with our technical team
to enhance the capabilities and robustness of the ECAI system.
- Researchers, educators and members of the public who have an interest
in maps and culture may browse the Cultural Atlas Portal and search for information in the ECAI Clearinghouse.
- If you would like to
contribute to the development of ECAI financially or
publicize ECAI at your institution, please feel free to contact
us.
