Orchid Island (Lan-yu) Cultural Atlas

This Website is a Cultural Atlas that includes maps, a timeline, and images of Orchid Island (Lan-yu in Mandarin). Orchid Island is administered by Taitung County, Taiwan. The island is linguistically connected with the Batanes Islands. The islanders have a long seafaring history beginning with prehistoric people who came from the Batanes.
