Primary Centers and Partners

ECAI uses the terms Primary Center or Partner to refer to:

• institutions that are collaborating with ECAI, such as:
  • California Digital Library
  • University of Sydney Archaeological Computing Laboratory
  • British Library
  • Arts and Humanities Data Service
  • Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis Polis Center
  • National Palace Museum
  • University of California, Berkeley
  • University of the West
• institutions whose members contribute significant expertise to ECAI. These include:
  • ACASIAN project at Griffith University
  • Huntington Archive of Buddhist Art at Ohio University
  • International and Area Studies at UC Berkeley
  • China Data Center at University of Michigan
  • Academia Sinica Computing Center

ECAI also has a close relationship with the Pacific Neighborhood Consortium (PNC). The annual ECAI winter conference is held in conjunction with PNC. Many early members of ECAI were associated with PNC and with the Electronic Buddhist Text Initiative (EBTI), a PNC project.
