CALL FOR PAPERS - released June 2005

ECAI is pleased to announce its autumn Regional Meeting held in collaboration with the Pacific Neighborhood Consortium. The conference will be held at the University of Hawaii Manoa between November 1 and 3. In addition the Pacific Rim Digital Librarian Alliance will meet on October 31.

You are invited to submit proposals for presentations or full sessions. We particularly welcome papers on the following topics:

1) Presentations on e-Publications and e-cultural atlases

2) Papers on Austronesia -reflecting the location of this meeting

3) Infrastructure including Grid Computing, middleware and GLORIAD

4) Cultural atlases in teaching

Please submit your proposals to Kim Carl at kcarl@berkely.edu. For enquiries about possible sessions please contact me at paul.ell@qub.ac.uk. The proposal submission deadline is now extended to August 31, 2005. Please watch both the ECAI (ecai.org) and PNC (pnclink.org) websites for logistical information about the conference.
